As Lead Concept Designer, I played a pivotal role in creating a compelling pitch deck to support the development and promotion of a TIER scooters advertisement. The project centered around showcasing TIER’s innovative app, user-friendly features, and eco-conscious ethos, highlighting how the app enhances the overall scooter experience. The pitch aimed to position TIER as a leader in sustainable micro-mobility, combining cutting-edge design with an intuitive user experience.
Creative Objective: The goal was to design a campaign concept that communicated the seamless integration of TIER’s app with its scooter features, emphasizing safety, convenience, and sustainability. The advertisement needed to appeal to environmentally conscious urban commuters while demonstrating TIER’s technological innovation.
Key Advertisement Concept:
Narrative Structure: The ad followed a day-in-the-life format, showcasing various users—young professionals, students, and eco-conscious commuters—navigating the city with TIER scooters. Each interaction highlighted specific features of the scooter and app, seamlessly tying them to user benefits.
Key Highlights:
App Integration: The TIER app was presented as the central hub for unlocking scooters, planning routes, and accessing real-time city zone information. A sleek animation sequence showcased how users can rent a scooter in seconds, with the app displaying battery status, parking zones, and safety reminders.
Safety & Convenience: Scenes highlighted features like the foldable helmet from the Smartbox, turn signal feedback, and the intuitive phone holder for navigation.
Eco-Friendly Messaging: The campaign underscored TIER’s commitment to sustainability, with shots of battery swaps taking place in eco-friendly hubs and users making an effortless switch from cars to scooters.
Visual Tone: Vibrant, clean, and modern visuals reflected TIER’s brand identity. The color palette emphasized green and neutral tones, aligning with the company’s eco-conscious mission.
Role & Contributions:
Concept Development: I crafted the creative vision for the advertisement, weaving together TIER’s product features with user benefits into a cohesive, engaging narrative. My approach emphasized simplicity and clarity while highlighting innovation and sustainability.
User Experience Design: I focused on designing user flows for the TIER app, ensuring the ad clearly communicated how the app complements the scooter experience. This included crafting wireframes and mockups to illustrate how app interactions would appear on-screen.
Visual Storyboarding: I led the development of storyboards that established the pacing, camera angles, and emotional beats of the advertisement. This ensured the final product resonated with audiences and communicated TIER’s value propositions effectively.
Pitch Deck Creation: I was instrumental in designing the pitch deck used to present the concept. This included translating the ad’s narrative into visually compelling slides with cohesive layouts, polished visuals, and clear messaging tailored to stakeholders.
Impact: The pitch deck successfully showcased how TIER’s app enhances the user experience and distinguishes the brand in the competitive micro-mobility market. My contributions helped secure buy-in from stakeholders, aligning the creative vision with TIER’s innovative and sustainable ethos. The project demonstrated the potential of TIER’s ecosystem to redefine urban mobility and solidify its position as a climate-neutral transportation leader.
This project allowed me to combine my expertise in concept design, visual storytelling, and UX strategy to create a campaign that effectively communicated TIER’s mission to revolutionize sustainable commuting.
